About Dewlap Games
I'm Alex, and I created Dewlap Games as a blog to share my journey as an amateur game designer. Over time, I would like to evolve it into a place to host print-and-play versions of my games. Join me on this adventure as I pull back the curtain to show what’s working and, more importantly, what isn’t. I'll share my workflows, tools, designs, and other helpful insights as I learn along the way.
I will also write about the board games I'm playing, what makes them special, and occasionally try my hand at board game photography.
About Alex
My parents said I was playing Nintendo at 2 years old. Video games, computers, and programming have been a significant part of my entire life. Board games are absent from that list because for significant stretches I felt that I had no one to play them with. Meetups, mutual friends, and now my amazing partner have really brought board games to the forefront of my life. They bring me joy, a nice escape from the stress of modern life, and are a special way to connect with people I care about as well as new friends.

Shelf Life Games
If you live in the greater Boston area, check out my other project, Shelf Life Games, where my partner Aya and I organize board game pop-up. Our goal is to share what we love so much about board games with others.
